Video: Jahmal McMurray 30 Points vs. Houston

Former Highland Park standout guard Jahmal McMurray scored a season-30 points against Houston in his freshman season at USF.

McMurray made 9 of 19 shots from the field including all three 3-point attempts and 9 of 10 free throws scoring 24 of his 30 points in the second half to go with three assists and two rebounds to help lead USF to a 71-62 win at Houston on January, 23, 2016.

It was the seventh time a USF freshman scored at least 30 points in a game and McMurray was three points away from tying the freshman single-game record.

McMurray was an AAC All-Rookie Team selection and two-time AAC Rookie of the Week as he lead USF in scoring averaging 15.2 points.
