Hayden guard Zach Harvey is one of the top 2019 prospects in the Midwest who had a very productive freshman season.
Harvey averaged 12.0 points a game as a freshman, which is the highest scoring average by a freshman in Topeka in recent memory and the first time in nine years a freshman averaged in double figures.
The 6-foot-4 combo guard showcased his talents by going to the basket, hitting mid-range jumpers, connecting on 3-pointers, and finding open teammates. He scored 21 points in the season finale against Rock Creek in the sub-state championship.
Harvey has received high interest from Northwestern. Maryland, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Kansas State have also expressed interest in Harvey, who will be playing with KC Run GMC in the offseason.
