A Look at Ken Darting’s Career at Highland Park

Ken Darting wrapped up his 13-year career as the head coach of the Highland Park Scots with the conclusion of the 2013-14 season.

Darting went 259-53 (.830 winning percent), with 10 state tournament appearances, won four state titles (2004, 2007-09) and had four second-place finishes.

His 2007 championship team went 25-0 and is considered one of the greatest teams in state history.

He went 19-6 in the state tournament, which includes 17-5 in 5A and 2-1 in 4A*.

He coached seven Division I players including current professionals Kyle Weems and Theron Wilson.
