Hayden 2019 6-foot-3 talented guard Zach Harvey has earned national recognition for his performance at the prestigious invite-only John Lucas International Middle School Combine in Houston, Texas.

Slam Online’s Rodger Bohn listed Harvey as one of eight players who caught his eye and had this to say:

“Topeka isn’t exactly known as a high school hoops hotbed, but Zach Harvey is doing his best to help put the city on the map. The super smooth swingman made the game look effortless with his slick handle, pinpoint vision, and deadly J off of the bounce. Looking like he’s still got a few inches of growth left in him based on his length, expect it to only be a matter of time before Big 12 schools come calling.”

In addition, Hoop Scoop ranked Harvey as the 39th-best prospect at the camp and Rcs Sports ranked Harvey as one of the top 45 performers.

Harvey has had a strong spring playing for PowerGroup as he helped lead the team to a 14U title at the Jayhawk Invitational finishing as the team’s leading scorer.  He averaged 16.2 points in five games at the Kansas City Classic as PowerGroup finished second in 14U. He scored 22 points in the semifinal victory.
