The inaugural Kansas Senior Showcase will be held at the Next Level Hoops Academy in Bel Aire on October 11.

The event is designed for up to 100 seniors in the 2016 class to have an opportunity to showcase their skills in front of college coaches from Kansas and surrounding states. A total of 37 schools in Kansas, including all five Division II programs, have confirmed their attendance at the event.

Players will compete against each other from all over the state regardless of classification and players are guaranteed to play in at least three games.  The event is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.

Event organizer and former UMKC assistant coach Jason Sautter has coached at the Division I, Division II, junior college, and high school levels.

“I have been fortunate enough to have help place hundreds of players in colleges over the last 16 years and have a great grasp of what every level is looking for,” Sautter said.  “From a high academic to a young man just looking for a chance that he might not have received in the past. We will have it all.”

The cost of the event is $40, which is payable online or mailing a check by Oct. 7 to Sautter Enterprises, LLC, 7805 Colonial Drive, Prairie Village, KS 66208.  Click here to register.
